The San Churro Loyalty Club Program (“El Social”) is a loyalty program which is operated by Venga Pty Ltd (“San Churro”).
Membership Enrolment, Activation and Eligibility
Eligible individuals can enrol in El Social and become a San Churro El Social Member by:
Only a person is eligible to enrol as a El Social Member.
To be eligible to participate in El Social, a person must have a valid Australian address, a valid email address and be 18 years of age or older. Those under the age of 18 are eligible to participate in El Social provided they are over the age of 13 and have received parental or guardian consent. Parents/guardians may be required by San Churro to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent for a minor to participate in El Social.
By enrolling in El Social, El Social Members consent to receive the San Churro e-newsletter as well as other emails, push notifications, Vouchers to the App and SMS communications containing special offers about El Social and its rewards and services.
Membership is non-transferable, is not redeemable for cash, and is non-refundable.
No fees will be charged by San Churro for the issue, registration, activation or use of the Card or App. El Social Members are responsible for any costs charged by their service provider for Internet access to use the App.
Membership is a privilege which can be revoked by San Churro in its sole discretion at any time and without compensation for any reason including without limitation, for abuse or breach by a El Social Members of any of the Terms and Conditions of El Social or any other actions deemed by San Churro, acting in its sole discretion, to be contrary to San Churro, El Social or the interests of the El Social Members or partners.
Upon registration, an account will be created for the El Social Member (“Account”).
There is a strict limit of one (1) registered Account per El Social Member. Each Account requires an independent email address.
Each San Churro El Social Member shall be responsible for updating their Account to reflect any change of their name, mailing address, email address, mobile phone number or any other required membership enrolment data. El Social Members can update their details on a self-service basis by visiting elsocial.sanchurro.com.
Should a password relating to an Account be lost or forgotten, an El Social Member should go to elsocial.sanchurro.com, where they will be required to enter their email address. Their password will then be sent to their nominated email address associated with their Account.
An El Social Member may not gain any features, promotions, offers or recognitions offered under El Social (“Benefits”) from activities or purchases undertaken on behalf of a business.
Individuals must become and remain a El Social Member of El Social to participate in El Social and earn and redeem Benefits.
El Social Members are entitled to free birthday churros (Churros for Two – 6 churros + 2 dip cups) or a $15 Churros Fiesta for their birthday upon presentation of a registered physical Card or App virtual card along with a valid physical photo ID which can only be redeemed the day before, day of or the day after a member’s actual birthday.
A member must have a fully verified El Social account at least 48 hours before their birthday in order to be eligible for the offer. Accounts created the day of or after the birthday will not be eligible for the offer until the following year.
El Social Members are also entitled to every fifth hot drink free upon presentation of a registered physical Card or App virtual card which must be redeemed within 12 months of the accrual.
The free birthday churros or $15 Churros Fiesta must be redeemed in accordance with the directions given by San Churro. San Churro will email the directions to the San Churro Socialites 8 days before their birthday. The complimentary birthday churros is not transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash. San Churro takes no responsibility for incorrectly entered birth dates during the registration process.
From time to time, San Churro may, in its absolute discretion, conduct various reward offers, promotions and discount offers which will be opened to San Churro Socialites (or selected El Social Members) only.
San Churro specifically reserves the right to amend, alter, withdraw or terminate El Social, any Benefits or these Terms and Conditions either with or without notice. Any such changes may affect the Benefits, which you may have previously accumulated, as well as any future accumulation of Benefits. Enrolment, membership and all related Benefits of El Social are offered in the sole discretion of San Churro.
Cards and the App
The Card and the App will be accepted in all San Churros across Australia. From time to time some San Churro chocolaterias may be prevented from accepting due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g. internet outage). If a San Churro does not accept the Card or App, individuals will be required to visit an alternative chocolateria in order to participate in El Social.
San Churro reserves the right not to accept a Card or App should we believe that the use is unauthorised, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful.
Lost or Stolen Membership Cards
In the case of a lost or stolen Card, El Social Members should visit a San Churro and request a new Card. El Social Members must then log onto elsocial.sanchurro.com, where they can transfer their existing Account information to their new Card by submitting their details. Cards that are reported as lost or stolen will immediately be cancelled and rendered inactive. While every effort will be made to ensure that the full credit balance for the Account is transferred to the new Card, San Churro will not be responsible for any credit lost prior to the transfer (including but not limited to any redemptions that may have occurred while the previous Card was lost).
Lost, Stolen, or New Phones
In the case of a lost or stolen phone, or in the event an El Social Member obtains a new phone, they must log onto elsocial.sanchurro.com, and follow the prompts to update their password. After the password has been updated, the San Churro Socialite can download the App to their new compatible phone and log in using their email and new password. All information will sync up to existing the El Social Member details. While every effort will be made to ensure that the full credit balance for the Account is transferred to the new mobile App, San Churro will not be responsible for any credit lost prior to the transfer (including but not limited to any redemptions that may have occurred while the previous phone was lost). The barcode is not exclusive to the App and should not be shared in the public domain (e.g. social media).
San Churro assumes no liability whatsoever, including without limitation, liability for any expense, loss, cost, injury, damage, accident or any other matter or thing whatsoever, however suffered or caused (including compensatory, incidental, indirect, special, punitive, consequential or exemplary damages or damages for loss of income or profits), directly or indirectly arising out of or related to El Social or by reason of the termination of or amendment to El Social in whole or in part, the addition or deletion of reward partners or other features with or without notice.
Neither San Churro nor its respective officers, agents, employees and related bodies corporate shall be responsible for any failure of the elsocial.sanchurro.com website or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email, online or Internet entry. In addition, neither San Churro nor its respective officers, agents, employees and related bodies corporate shall be responsible due to technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any computer or property related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any material relating to El Social. San Churro reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend El Social should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of San Churro corrupt the security or proper administration of the Programme.
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with, and subject to, any additional Terms and Conditions governing any particular reward, promotion, discount or offer operated by San Churro.
San Churro’s decisions in relation to all matters arising under El Social are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
San Churro reserves the right to change or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
If El Social is suspended or cancelled at any time San Churro may notify members via email or the relevant section of the San Churro website.
If for any reason El Social is inoperable (including but not limited to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, and technical failures) San Churro reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with San Churro’s systems, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend El Social. This includes causes beyond the control of San Churro which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of El Social.
San Churro shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury sustained as a result of participation in El Social. This includes accrual or redemption of credits, use of a Card or App, accepting a reward or other entitlement, or using a discount offer under El Social, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
San Churro will not be held responsible for any tax liability incurred by a San Churro Socialite in connection with El Social, including in relation to any reward, discount or entitlement offered.
San Churro will not be held liable for any communication to any El Social Member that is late, lost or misdirected for any reason, including but not limited to, spam filters operating on a San Churro Socialite’s email account or other system configuration problems.
San Churro is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or line, computer system, equipment, server or provider, software, technical problem or traffic congestion on the Internet. This includes (but not limited to) any injury or damage to a El Social Member’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in El Social.
San Churro may also from time to time make available to El Social Members promotions and competitions (collectively, “Competitions”).
San Churro may publish names of winners of Competition prizes.

Committed to Your Privacy
San Churro and its respective officers, agents, employees and related bodies corporate (collectively, “we” or “our”) are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect your personal information for the following purposes to:
San Churro may share aggregated and anonymised El Social Member data with third parties so long as that aggregated and anonymised El Social Member data cannot be reasonably traced back to an individual.
The El Social Member’s information is considered a San Churro asset. If our business is transferred to a new owner, the El Social Member’s personal information may be transferred to and considered an asset of the new owner.
El Social Members may opt-out of receiving e-newsletters and SMS communications during the registration process.
El Social Member should direct any request to access, update or correct their personal information by filling in this form.

If you picked up a card in store, you can register your details on the San Churro website (elsocial.sanchurro.com) or by downloading the mobile app where you will be prompted to link the card to the app. Once you have verified your email, your card will be active.
When you create an El Social account, you will automatically be issued with a digital card. If you have a plastic card, you can link the card to the account when you register by entering the Card Number in the appropriate field.
In order to get a free hot drink, you must scan your El Social card or app with each purchase. When you have purchased 4 drinks, the free drink will be available for the next transaction.
Your free drink can be any coffee, tea or hot chocolate up to the value of $8.50.
FREE hot drinks will be available on your account for up to 365 days. They can be used at any time before they expire.
Simply present your El Social Card or app along with physical photo ID to verify your birthday and let staff know that you would like to claim your free birthday churros (6 churros + 2 dip cups – does not include Ruby or Gold Chocolate or extras) or $15 Churros Fiesta (18 churros + 6 dip cups). Free birthday churros or $15 Churros Fiesta can be redeemed the day before, day of and day after your birthday.

All members can access their San Churro El Social account by either logging into the mobile app or through the San Churro website.
